COLUMBUS -- Today, Community Organizer and Producer/Host of GrassRoot Ohio Radio/Podcast Carolyn Harding is entering the Ohio State Representative race in Ohio, competing for the Democratic nomination for District (TBD, formerly District 18).
“I’m a Democrat running to represent our District at the Statehouse, to empower your Rights and your Vote,” said Carolyn Harding. “I will bring forward, brave leadership to the Statehouse with Equality, Sustainability and Justice for All as my guide. My campaign depends on everyday people, volunteers, and your contributions, not big corporate PACs or dark money.”
Carolyn Harding grew up next to Harding Hospital, where her family provided mental health care for three generations. She studied and worked in the arts, founded Cinublue Productions, creating educational and historical theater, team building trainings and improv classes, while raising two children and organizing to protect Columbus water from oil & gas radioactive waste dumping within the Columbus Metro watershed. She is the Producer/Host for GrassRoot Ohio Radio/Podcast, a weekly progressive talk show - conversations with concerned citizens/activists all around Ohio working on issues of environmental, racial, social and economic justice.
Harding is running with a progressive policy vision, a platform that will mobilize the people in her district. She’ll fight for:
Reproductive, LGBTQIA+, BIPOC rights
Improved Medicare for All with mental heath/dental+
Climate Action, Clean and Safe Water, Air, and Soil
$15.00 minimum wage
Equitably-funded free public schools pre-K through University
Ending qualified immunity
